I'm not that sure actually. To some extent I am suffering from the "swamped with dating options while young, and now ignored".

I am not finding it to be that easy, so far. The first 3 years of being in my 40s has been 'a little nuts'. Luckily, it has not been 'all bad'....but undersexed and feeling underfunded and not that well loved and disappointed because I had expected to have achieved far beyond what I have by age 30 give a melancholic air to an otherwise alright time.

I am harboring some hopes and am enjoying the fact that I spawned in a way that means my offspring will be adult before I hit age 50.

I'm finishing up my 40's and life keeps getting better. Everything you said in the article has been true so far for me. Looks like the good life awaits!
