Hi Stephanie,

Nice, well written and researched piece about a serious problem in our mountains. I forwarded it to my organization, the New York New Jersey Trail Conference

I’m a volunteer trail maintainer and wild food forager. Forest health is our most important issue. I hope those who can distribute it do so. I’m sure our 10K members would be interested if they’re informed.

This was beautifully written; I’m amazed with you! Our water up here in northern Minnesota is wonderful, but for how long is anybody’s guess judging by what you’ve written. I will definitely pass this blog around and send the letter to your governor.
