Are you a boomer or a zoomer?

I’m a professor of gerontology, and my longitudinal research (1998-2008) identified nine lifestyle traits that provide guidelines for successful aging and productive retirement.

These lifestyle traits identify a subculture within the Boomer Generation called ZOOMERS.

Boomers are welcome to submit their active lifestyle stories for a possible profile in ZOOMER magazine.

Great site! I am a baby boomer (barely) having been born in 1964. I am physically disabled, with Cerebral Palsy, and use a motorized wheelchair and a service dog.

I am looking to train my 4th service dog at the moment and am currently upgrading my top-rated website. I am one of the top service dog experts in the US, so if you have questions, just ask! It has been an exciting 18 years with 3 service dogs and I can’t wait to get started with my next dog. I am also an ADA and disability expert. If you have a disability question, I will try to answer it, if I can’t find the answer, I know someone who CAN answer it!

Thanks for Tweet/follow. I’m pharmacist/ turned software developer – and am just about to start developing OnTimeRx, a medication reminder app, for the Android phones and for the iPhone (now that they allow multitasking!) So I really got a kick out of the young guys’ videos – discussing and comparing iPhones, Droids, etc. Good user input from “dudes” who know about these things. Us older technophiles can always learn a thing or two from the grandkids. They always seem to be up on the latest.
