  1. Great site - extremely informative!

  2. I am not sure if I fall into the baby boomer category, but I graduated in HS in 1978. Am I? Any how, I found this blog through communication via Twitter. Similar to your objective of having one place for people to discuss health care, retirement and everything in between, I was wondering about having one place where people can go to get discounts from pharmaceutical manufacturers to help ease the high cost of prescription drugs. That’s how my website started. It took months for me to put it together, and I think it can be very useful for all consumers. It’s free and community supported based on donations. I hope you can take advantage of the services.

  3. I FIRMLY believe that as we near the retirement years, no one is going to give us what we all desire for financial independence. Doing research on ways to accomplish this endeavor has been a long process for me with some hits and misses along the way.

My wife and I feel good about our decisions that are leading us on a path for a very secure retirement. It’s work, like anything else worth having but also quite a bit of fun!

    I have a few questions.

    1) Does one have to be retired to remove money without penalty from an IRA, 401K, 403B etc at age 59 1/2?

    2) How does one post a video on you.tube?

    3) If I want to make my own video is there a source of picures/videos I could use in my own video, for example if I wanted a picture of the planet earth from space spliced into my video can I do that?

  11. Vivian’s answer to question #1 has been answered by Arin Goldman, an investment banker and ImagineAge blogger. To view the answer, go to the “Wise” Category or to the “Finance Question” blog.

  19. You’ve gathered terrific information for baby boomers. I write about active travel for baby boomers at http://myitchytravelfeet.com

I agree with a previous comment. Black background with white lettering is very hard on baby boomers eyes. Good luck with your site.
